Blog challenge # 26

What spice in a spice rack best represents you? Describe it.

I would say I am sugar. I am sweet and can add alot to a dish but if you use me by mistake in a wrong dish I can destroy the taste. So pretty much don't cross me or get on my bad side otherwise I am just as sweet as can be.

Suzanne's Blog challenge # 25

Write about something once experienced while visiting a favorite town or city. Was the specific experience the reason that makes it one of your favorites? If not, write about what what it is that makes it your favorite town or city.

I would have to say my favorite city is Las Vegas. I have been there 3 different times and love it more each time. I love all the beautiful buildings and everything contained inside of them. For me it is like walking into a fairy tale and getting to be a princess while I am there. The first time I went, was so very special and I was like a kid in a candy store. Phil and I went with friends and then we took Todd & Kellie one year. Each time we see something different and I can't wait to go back again.

Challenge #24

Choose a topic. (Weather, children, school, work, etc.) Write three sentences that begin with the words 'I'll never forget...' Then use one of your sentences in a paragraph, poem, or longer descriptive piece.

I'll never forget the time Heidi thought there was bear in our backyard.
I'll never forget the time Heidi thought she had killed her brother.
I'll never forget the time Todd his a rabbit and damaged the front of his car.

I'll never forget the time Heidi thought there was bear in our backyard. My daughter loved to play outside from first thing in the morning till late at night. She played mostly in her sandbox in the back yard and would get so involved in her play that she hated to quit for anything and I mean anything.

Well, little Missy decided she had to go potty and didn't want to take the time to come in. While she was squatting in the yard, our neighbor ran by with his Great Dane. This Great Dane was so big that he would look into the windows of our Mustang car. She came running in the house with her pants half up screaming that there was a bear after her. She just kept screaming there's a bear in our backyard and he was going to eat me. I went outside and all I saw was this big Great Dane just looking like what is going on. I guess to a little 4 year old the Great Dane probably did look like a bear.

I wonder if her little Miss Jorja will be doing something like this one of these days??

Suzanne's Challenge #23

What's the first movie you remember seeing at a theater? Write about how you felt it... the movie, the big screen, the volume, the crowd, etc. Do you enjoy going to theaters now? What is the last movie you saw at a theater?

The first one I remember seeing was Old Yeller at the Maple Rapids theater. I remember we went with by brothers, Bruce, Brian and friends Pat, Chris, Denise. The boys set in the seats in back of us girls.During the sad part, my one brother reached up and used my scraf to wipe away his tears. They also had drawings during intermission and gave away silver dollars and I won 3 of them. I was so happy. It was also one of the first time our parents took us to the theater and left us kids all alone.

I don't like going to theathers now because sitting that long hurts my back. The last time I went was with my grandkids in GA and we saw the show Enchanted and I loved it.
