My kids

This photo was taken many years ago at a wedding they were both in. My daughter wrote the poem to her brother. I used black cardstock and all the rest of the paper is from the DCWV Heirloom Stack collection. I hand cut all the flowers except for the teal flower and I used Tim Holtz die to cut out the flower.

A couple of items I just finished.

The challenge at Boston Fanatics was to find an image on line and then to stitch it. I found the image of the horse and stitched around it. I used Graphic' 45 Timeless Collection to make the background. I sanded down the back piece, used a gate die I had and cut it up for the fence and then used a MS punch to make the grass.

The 2nd layout is paper from Graphic 45, Secret Garden collection. The flowers were homemade. I used gesso, glitter and 2 different kind of sprays, a pink and purle and then used Tim Holtz dies to use out the biggest flowers a couple different flowers punches. I added some white and pink netting to the biggest flowers.

Thank for looking.

I am starting to like sketches :)

Some more sketch challenges at Boston Fanatics. This was my grandson doing body surfing for the first time.

I used Imagination paper and the circle as washi tape that I put on cardstock and punched out. I used the positive and negatives from my Fiskars punch .

For this layout I used Cosmo Cricket's Dutch Girl papers. The flowers are one I crocheted this week and then I used dies for the butterflies and swirls. THe zig zags are really brads that I have had for years.

My Grandkids

At least these were all my grandkids at the time in 2011. Two more beautiful grandkids have been added since them. It took me longer to pick out the papers than it did to create the layout.

I used my sewing machine, which hadn't been used in awhile to stitch around the paper. I picked the Ella Blue collection by GCD Studios as my papers, and used my EK Curvy Cutter to cut out the circle. I hand cut the flower along the bottom and then used my die cut for the swirls and a Recollections punch for the little flowers. I finished off using the Wellington Stickers.
