Grandma's Little Helper

We were cleaning mom's house to have it ready when she came home from the nursing home and Tyler wanted to help. He did a great job.

A Little Wreath

I am sharing an idea from something I saw on Pinterest, I just made changes to make it my own. I first used the circle cutter to cut my backing for the wreath and then took some old magaiznes that I had. Using Punch 906 with Insert A I starting punching the pages. I then folded the pages back and forth and hot glued them onto the cardstock wreath (hot glue works faster, just watch those fingers). I just kept going until I had the whole wreath covered. I added ribbon to the back so the wreath can be hung and then made some flowers for the finishing touch.

Please check out the Just Imagine Crafts store to see all the wonderful punches they have.

Sun, Sand and Surf

For a challenge on Turtle Soup to take an embellishment and then create the layout from that embellishment. I picked the Sun, Sand and Surf chipboard, inked and embossed it. Added some texture paste to tone down the orange a little bit. Hard to believe it was this long ago that we went to Lake Huron.

Crossroad Village

I completed this layout for a challenge at Turtle Soup This was taken at Crossroad Village during the Christmas light show. I fussy cut the flower at the bottom and used a train sticker on the bottom. Very happy with how it turned out.

Family

This photo was taken several years ago when we all went away for a long weekend. I made the leaf vines from old magazine paper and made the flowers from cardstock. I had so much fun using mists and masks on this layout.

You're all heart

My turn at Just Imagine Crafts and I made a Valentine card for you. I embossed the white cardstock and then used Punch 306 to punch all the flowers out of 3 different colors of cardstock, inked the edges and then layered them over a heart pattern (otherwise I couldn't have made such a great heart). Once I had the layering done I add some pearls to some of the flowers and used a sticker for the saying. Please check out the store to see the great punches.

Altered Swap

There are some ladies from the Boston scrapbook site on FB that do an altered swap every couple of months. This time it was to alter mousetraps. I had Lisa who likes earth tones and steampunk. I did one rat trap and 2 mousetraps and loved the end result.
