Time for a little tag
Today I am sharing a fun tag to create.
I started with a plain white tag and
then used a stencil and some ink to get the background.
Next, I wanted to make some flowers and
decided to try something different. I put glue down on a piece of
cardstock and start laying string by string down until I got it to
the size I wanted. I used the Crushed
Lavender Solid Twine.
Next I used some of my flower dies and
cut out the number of flowers that I wanted.
I also used a vine die and put that
behind the flowers.
To finish off my flowers, I layered
them and added a brad to the center. I used a ribbon at the top and
a “Thanks” brad at the bottom.
I hope you will check out not only the
twine the the tags in the Whisker
Graphics Store. Until next time, I hope you have fun doing
something creative.

Bright and colorful sympathy card
Colleen from Scrappin Granny here sharing a sweet sympathy card.
I started with this bright and beautiful papers from Graphics 45. I used the African Circle die by Amy Design for all the cut outs on this card.
For the next layer I wanted to add a little bit of white so I laced a piece a paper around.
To finish off the card I used Greetings die by Karen Burniston and the Small Exotic Butterflies by Cheery Lynn. I used the Best Glue Ever to adhere everything down.

Tickle me yellow. For the blog hop for Creative Inspiration my challenge is to take something that you normally might throw away and turn it into something useful. It could be used on a card, layout or like what I created for a centerpiece for our dining room table.
This was a wine bottle that I sprayed yellow and then glued yellow feathers on it, added some eyes and of course a peak.
I can't wait to see what you will create and share with us.

Fun with vellum
Today I am sharing a card made using vellum and some awesome dies from Dies R Us.
I started by adding the cardstock background. All my papers are some from my scraps, which is a great way to use your scraps.
I started by adding the cardstock background. All my papers are some from my scraps, which is a great way to use your scraps.
Next I used the Basket Weave die by Frantic Stamper.
Since I wanted the panel a little bigger I cut out a 2nd one and meshed them together.
I had some vellum flowers that I glued on top using the Best Glue Ever to adhere everything down.
Since I didn't want the flourishes to be white I inked up them using Distress Inks by Tim Holtz. I then cut them out using Leafy Flourish by Cheery Lynn Designs.
I used the Karen Burniston Greeting die for the title.
To finish off the card I used Gemini die to add the lace at the top and backed it with some of the leftover vellum that was inked.
