Some things I have been working on

Been awhile since I have posted anything. We lost our power due to an ice storm and man winter is not the time not to have heat and water. Such a blessing when it came back on. Big thanks to the men and women of Consumers Powers and the help of many from other states for helping this state get their power back on.

Being sick really sucks

I haven't had much time to scrap as being sick gives way for very little energy.

I did finally get all my Christmas cards done as well as some bags for little gifts.

If you have 5 minutes

Could you please watch this powerpoint presentation. My grandson is involved in this robotic class for the 2nd year. I think it is a very creative idea. The more people who watch the video it helps them out.

Thank you in advance.

Gift card holders

This first holder I made using the Envelope Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers, this holder works great for money as well as gift cards.

This little purse is great for a gift card for a lady. I used my dies to make this purse and had so much fun making it.

This little snowman was made using circles and ovals. You lift up the front flap and put your gift card in there.

Some layouts from today

So much fun creating these layouts with the boys. This was the first time grandpa held Riley and he still wasn't comfortable with it but he was so proud of holding him. I made the flowers on both layouts, the flowers on the layout with Riley and myself are made with crepe paper and were so much fun to make.

A tag card

Made a tag that can be used as a card. There is a zipper down the center and I used my dies for the cattails and the flowers and a punch for the leaf. This was so much fun to make, I will be making more for sure.

A couple of birthday cards

I made a couple of b-day cards this weekend and love how they both turned out. So much fun to make.

Challenge to use a stencil/mask in a different way than what it was intended for

The first one I stencil with ink a flower, cut it out and then made them into layered flowers.

The 2nd one I cut out my own stencil from a stencil and used it to make the burst on the paper.

The last one, I used a mask and traced the hexagon and then cut them out and glued them onto the paper.

Fall is in the air

A couple of projects since fall is for sure in the air. I bought the ghost last year in a clearance section so this year I decided it was time to do something with it. I deco all the paper on it and made the flowers from cheesecloth and added the suckers. I was one sucker short but figure they won't stay in it long.

I made the burlap flowers that are on the LO. I also used my leaf stencil and but gesso over the entire 12x12 cardstock, when it was dry I used yellows, oranges and one red gelatos to add color, sprayed water on the gelatos and then wiped off with paper towel.

A couple of cards

I made a couple of cards this morning. The one with the door was made using a die for the door, the tree is a stamp that I stamped and then enlarged with my scanner and then colored in. I found the ornate lamp post on line, and printed it off and then hand cut it. I used my sizzlits dies for the pumpkins. The other card was made with all left over papers.

Merry Christmas

I made the trees from ribbons, I glued them on cardstock and then cut them out with my sizzix. I put tissue paper down on the blue cardstock and then added some glitter and used gesso to add some snowflakes. The boys were having fun in Frankenmuth trying on hats.
