I did a challenge from Scrap Around The World. The colors of yellow, green and black just popped out at me so those are the colors I picked. I used Lemon Flower Stack by DCWV, some Stampin Up stickers, old buttons that I cut the backs off of and fussy cut the flowers. I hope you go over to Scrap Around the World and give the challenge a try.

New flower fillers
I saw an idea similar to this a year or two ago, I just added my own touch to the idea. Do you have any of those little seed beads around that you don't know what to do with? Here is an idea for you.
These are the only supplies you need:
You take your florist wire and wrap the florist tape around it. Cut the wire into whatever size of flowers you want. Put glue onto the wire and roll the glued wire in the beads. Set them aside to dry and if when dry you want or need to add more beads, put a little more glue on and roll in the beads again.
These are the finished flowers.
I also found the tiny beads are much harder to work with and required at least 2 different times of adding glue and beads and I didn't like the outcome as much.

Ride em Todd
Working on some older photos of my son and this one is from Christmas 1976. I used papers from Prima Nursery Tales, the stars are from Prima Bark Shapes, I used a spray called Baseboard by Plain Jane and the brown is one I made, Cowboy stickers by Karen Foster and the black pointed item (to look like a horses mane) was made from Casting Resin. I made other items using the Casting Resin and this was the overflow so I tried to make it look like the mane.
The sketch I used for this LO was Becky Fleck. You can find the sketch here at Back Porch Memories for their August Guest Designer Contest.

June's card challenge
Doesn't seem possible it is June already. The new card sketch is up at Stick it Down. I changed the direction for my card but fell in love with the completed card. I hope you give this month's challenge a try.

A couple items from today
Felt good to finally be able to scrap today. The layout is one of my granddaughter getting her horse ready to ride. I used "Halfway Cafe" papers by Cosmo Cricket, I used a wooden frame that I have had for years that was inked and embossed. The flower I made from a sugar sack that I sprayed with pink mists. The die cut is one that was made at and purchased from the Ovid scrapbook store. The barb wire was cut using my Silhouette.
The Christmas card was made using a wooden ornament that I painted with Liquid Pearls. I added water to the Liquid Pearls to paint on the ornament. The snow is Liquid Pearls that I added thick to make it look like snow and added some sparkle to it. The paper came from "Greetings of the Season" I purchased at Hobby Lobby several years ago. Used a MS punch for the punch of red at the bottom and sides.
