Time with a Moose

Good day to everyone.  My turn to share a project over on the Chattering Robin's Blog.  Last summer we met my son and family in the Upper Peninsula to explore the beauty up there.  At one of the stops we came across this moose just standing there waiting for his picture to be taken so our grandsons helped him out.  Please hop over to Chattering Robin's Blog to see what gorgeous papers from the Robin's store I used.  Be sure to check out the store to see other fabulous items in the store.

This page went together so easy and quickly and I love the woodys feel of it.

Some fun cards

I have been doing some of the card challenges over at Creative Inspiration and here are a few of the quick and easy cards I creates.  The first one was so easy and I will put a verse when I am ready to mail it out.

My second card involved one of the things I love to do which is fussy cutting, I cut all the flowers.

I love using my inks and stipple brush to create a different look on the cards.  Fast and easy and oh so much to play with inks.

This last card involved using a mask and the mask I used was to create snowbanks around the trees.

I thank you for looking.

A fun page

I had so much fun creating this page for a challenge at Kitchen Keepsake (KK) and Creative Inspiration (CI). Not always I can use one page for two challenges and this time it worked out great.  KK was a sketch challenge and CI was for something on an image that struck our eye.  For me what struck my eye were all the trees.

This went together to so quick and easy and I love the end result.   All that needed to be done was to add some layers behind the photo, cut out a frame and angle it and then I used a Creative Embellishment die cut which I embossed and then used a MS punch to create the pine flower, cut out the bear with my Cameo and used sticker alphas for the title.

Thanks for looking.

Falling for you

This time my project for Chattering Robin's Blog is a card.  This card looks awesome standing up but folds up to make mailing it so easy.  Please check out the Chattering Robin's Blog for a tutorial on how to make this card.

This is what the card looks like folded and ready to mail.

Thank you for stopping and don't forget to leave me a comment, I love reading them.

It's a new challenge at ScraPerfect

We are starting something new at ScraPerfect and I hope you take some time to check out the new monthly challenge. I will be hosting two challenges each month, on the 1st and 15th so please share your projects with us. Please join us at the ScraPerfect Blog.

The first challenge is a layout challenge and would love to see you page using fall colors.

This is my page.

It's that time again

It is time for Design Team try outs for The Robin's Nest.

This time I made a card and what is so unique about this block card is that it folds flat so you can mail it.

Start with your colored cardstock and cut one piece 4 1/2" x 12" and cut the second piece 1" x 4 1/2"

Score every 1 1/2 " or at 1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2", 6", 7 1/2", 9" and 10 1/2". Now turn the paper along the short side and score at 1 1/2" and 3".

Now take the smaller piece of cardstock and score it down the middle at 1/2".

Now you are going cut along the lines I have marked with an "X" and remove that area.

This is what it will look like when you cut that area out.

To help you know where to put your glue I have marked a capital A and lower case a and capital B and lower case b. So match the a's up and the b's up and you should have it glued together.

Now take the little piece that you folded in 1/2, which is called the hinge. Put glue on each side of the fold and adhere one side at a time to the block piece. Now it is ready for you to decorate.
