I used material on this card and then hand cut the leaves at the bottom. Added a ribbon and a rub on. I love using material on my cards and layouts. If you haven't tried before, give it a try now.

A shower gift

I learned how to make this bow from Mara's blog. It really is fun to make, give it a try.

An early birthday gift

I went out with 2 of my girlfriends Friday night. They were sneaky because they gave me my b-day present early. It seems since I am turning 60 this year it is fitting to give me something old :smile:

But seriously this was such an awesome gift. My dad owned a gas station and in fact bought it the year I was born. He always had items he gave away at Christmas time. My friend had a friend who bought all of these items at an estate sale and she bought them from him. This brought back so many memories.

My daughter on her first day of school way back in 1975. Wasn't she a little cutie?





My granddaughter who is such a beautiful little girl. I made the flowers for the layouts and hand cut the flower at the top.

Scrap it with a Song

I made the flowers at the bottom, using ribbon and trim. Cut out the branches with cricut using grungeboard and then inking it with Tim Holt'z ink.
