Flowers are blooming
For this Happy Birthday card I used Kreaxions Punch 306 to make the bigger flowers and layered two of them and then punch 921 for the smaller flowers and finally Punch 901 for the butterflies. Please check out the rest of the Design Teams use of Kreaxions punches to create flower themed cards and layouts at Just Imagine Crafts blog.

So Sweet
I made this card for a challenge at Turtle Soup. Bev challenged us to use twine in different ways so I made the sucker and butterflies from twine.

SMILE
My turn to post my latest using one of the Kreaxion punches. I used Punch 901 and insert A for the border under the photo and just the punch without the insert for the border at the top. I love this punch there are so many different uses and with spring coming (I think) it will be great on spring and summer layouts and cards. You can find the Kreaxions Punch 901 in the store as well as other items you all need for scrapping.

Use up those stickers
It is my time to host a challenge at Turtle Soup and I challenged the girls to use up some of those stickers you have had around for a long time. My stickers are the flowers along the right side of the layout.

Vintage Layout
My dad had a buddy who drew photos of my grandpa and grandma during WW II and I just scrapped this one of grandma. The paper is thin but still very easy to see.

It's all about flowers
I am trying out for the DT at Robin's Nest and decided to do something a little different.
I used an old ribbon spool.
I took off the top and bottom from the spool and covered both sides with paper. I painted the inside of the spool and while that was drying I added trim and lace along the outside of each lid. I then starting making flowers from paper. I used a couple sizzix dies for the flowers and then wet the paper and smooshed them up. Once almost dry I open the flowers up carefully and stacked them on top of each other. I added a little paint to the petals to tone down the colors and make them a little more vintage looking. I used Dew Drops in the center of the flowers. I wound wire around a stick to make the curls that are stuck in around the flowers as well as flower centers. I used a die cut for the leaves and then just put them in where needed.
Here is the finished project:

If you have never checked out Robin's Nest (http://robinsnest-scrap.com/) please take the time to do so. They offer so much in their store.

Night Swim
If you are like me and you like to use mists but you don't always have the right color, you can make the color you need. All you need is some water and gel food coloring. You pour the gel food coloring into a bottle and add a little water. If the color is too dark add a little more water. Shake it up until mixed and it is ready to spray. (Make sure it is GEL food coloring)
I used blue and a little orange of this white cardstock.

Christmas card
My card challenge this month at Kitchen Keepsake is to do some fussy cutting and layering. I had so much fun creating this card.
