The Black Marker Bandit
For Week 6-Task 2. We were to use a program to generate a news clipping. This one reads:
BEWARE!!!!!
The Black Marker Bandit is on the loose.
He strikes when you least expect it, while sleeping or when you are wide awake.
He uses a black permanent marker to get the job done.
Just look at what he did to this beautiful young lady.

LOVEBUG APPRENTICE on Lovebug Scrapbooking Week 5-Day 1 challenge:
Your task this time is to create a quilted feel to your layout. I want to really feel quilty LOL
Cover your entire background with pieces of patterned paper, this is a great way to use up your scraps too...then do some stitching around them all. This does NOT have to be real stitching, you can use rubons, stamps, draw them yourself, whatever, so long as I see that stitched look between all the pieces of paper
**There must be atleast 8 instances

A couple more layouts
For challenges on Lovebug Scrapbooking
This was a 3 day challenge, picking out paper, cutting and then putting everything together.
A sketch challenge, which I normally don't like but loved this.

Need a Christmas idea for that someone special
Somewhat embarrassing to admit, I'm not getting an annual bonus and Christmas is tight this year. I will be making bedroom slippers for you all as gifts. Please let me know your sizes. You'll most likely agree that it's a splendid idea, and should you wish to do the same, I've included the instructions below.
How to make bedroom slippers out of maxi pads:
You need four maxi pads to make a pair.
Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.
The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.
Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part.
Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers (this is most aesthetically appealing), etc.
These slippers are:
* Soft and Hygienic
* Non-slip grip strips on the soles
* Built in deodorant feature keeps feet smelling fresh
* No more bending over to mop up spills
* Disposable and biodegradable
* Environmentally safe
* Three convenient sizes: (1.) Regular, (2.) Light and (3.) Get out the Sand Bags.
I've attached a photo of the first pair I made so that you can see the nifty slippers for yourself....

Challenge #45
Write about a talent you wish you had.
I wish I could draw, even my stickmen don't like stickmen. My grandkids just laugh at my drawings.

What kind of cute monster are you?
What Your Cute Monster Says About You |
You are a simply happy person. You still view the world with a childlike innocence. You have an easy going attitude, and you value harmony. You love freely and inspire others to love. You inner demon is frailty. You are easily beaten down by life. People think you're cute because you are optimistic. Your outlook on life is charming. |

Suzanne's Blog challenge #43
Post a photo that you've taken in the last week and share a story about it.
This one proved to be easy for me. I took Monday and Tuesday off work to help out my son and daughter-in-law. My daughter-in-law was at her sister's wedding in Texas and my son found out last week that we was able to have the surgery to get a BAHA implant. On Monday he had the surgery and everything was a success. The first picture was taken the day we got home from the surgery. The second photo was taken the 2nd day. My daughter-in-law and grandson are home and everyone is doing fine.

Suzanne's Blog challenge #41
What instrument is NOT music to your ears? What is your favorite instrument? Do you or have you ever played? Blog all things music.
I would say the kazoo is the instrument that is NOT music to my ears. I love to hear the violin played, if played well. I don't have a musical bone in my body. I so wanted to play when I was in school but couldn't pass the stupid test. Currently, I love listening to country music and occasionally the 50's as well. Phil calls that old fogies music but it is music I grew up with so guessin he is call me old???
